My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

It’s sufficient. That means, there is always enough no matter what you’re facing. Have you ever said to yourself, “I just can’t do it!” How many times have you felt as though you “can’t” do or endure something God has ordained for you to walk through?

As I shared this verse with a couple of my boys this past week, I said something like, “Do you know that feeling you get when you feel like you can’t do something that God wants you to do? When you feel that, remember that God says He’s the One Who promises to give you the ability to do it. So don’t say ‘I can’t.’” By God’s grace, you can!

Isn’t that encouraging? Through whatever joys or trials we face, God both comforts and spurs us on to love and good works all by His grace! He is the One Who gives us the strength and ability to keep going, because His power is made perfect in our weakness.

When you feel weak, praise God! He will enable you to accomplish His will. He will hold you fast.
