Scripture Text: Hebrews 13:1-3
Pastor Timothy raises the question, “If Christians under persecution can seek the Lord, listen to Him, worship Him and grow in their understanding of Him while also gathering with one another and encouraging one another daily, then what’s my excuse in my prosperity?” By the grace of God given to us, let us run with endurance the race set before us. Let us listen to God and worship Him. Being consumed by God, let us love our brothers continually, exercise hospitality and remember the mistreated.
We need an obedience that comes from a heart moved by God’s glory and melted by Jesus’ sacrifice.
- Love your church (v. 1)
- Love the strangers in our family (v. 2)
- Remember the mistreated Christians (v. 3)
