Scripture Text: Hebrews 2:14-18
How do we know that Jesus can truly empathize with us? The question always rings in our minds. Although we read in Scripture that he knows our weaknesses, we somehow write it off because He is God. In this sermon, we hear how God truly does empathize with His children, and all the voices telling us otherwise are lies.
How do we know Jesus can empathize with us?
1. Jesus, in the flesh, died and faced the Devil (v. 14).
2. Jesus, in the flesh, died and freed slaves (vv. 15-16).
3. Jesus, in the flesh, faced incomparable suffering and is not the merciful and faithful High Priest (vv. 17-18).
