Scripture Text: Hebrews 4:11-13
There is a greater rest than physical rest. The Lord Jesus Christ promises to bring His children to that rest. Therefore, because of His grace, we should exhort one another with the Holy Scriptures until we reach that eternal day of rest. In this sermon, we are challenged to strive to enter that rest. God’s kindness is meant to lead us to repentance. Let us then strive to enter the rest and wield His Word until we enter His glorious Kingdom!
Why embrace and wield God’s Word?
1. God’s Word is active.
2. God’s Word is penetrating.
3. God’s Word is convicting.
