Ecclesiastes 1:1-2
1 The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
2 “Vanity[a] of vanities,” says the Preacher;
“Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”
This week Pastor Timothy began a new Sunday morning series in the book of Ecclesiastes. “What’s the point?” is the question that is raised over and over throughout the book. Timothy began this series with the point of directing our hearts and thoughts from the vanities of life to the riches of Christ. In the beginning of this new series, Pastor Timothy answers the Who, and Why of the Gospel According to Ecclesiastes through the eyes of “the preacher.”
