Ecclesiastes 1:12-2:11 (click here to read passage)
In this message from the series What’s the Point, Pastor Timothy gives the result of Solomon’s extensive search for pleasure and finds that only God can satisfy. In Ecclesiastes 1:12-2:11 we saw the vanity of both wisdom and pleasure. From a secular point of view wisdom to live a moral life did not offer any real advantage over living an immoral life. Also, because of the fleeting experience of pleasure, apart from God we are left with an insatiable thirst for more. Christ Himself is eternal wisdom and in Him alone can we find eternal joy!
