Pastor Timothy shows in Romans 2:25-29 that circumcision and religious rites will not rescue anyone from God’s wrath.

Why?

1. Obedience of the heart is what matters. Outward displays are utterly worthless when the spirit of a person isn’t obedient to the Lord.
2. The uncircumcised “keeper of the Law” will condemn hypocritical Jews who defined their relationship with God by rites and geneology.

How can one be rescued?

1. Only by an internal change of the heart, by the grace of God.
2. God counting you His child because Christ gave you His righteousness.
