Text: Mathew 27: 11-26
The story of Barabbas challenges us to see the beauty of Christ substituting His innocent life for one who was hated because of his sin. Jesus Barabbas was free at the expense of Jesus the Christ because the people rejected their Messiah. This story is a physical picture of what is taking place spiritually in every believer who is called a child of God – a son of the Father.
