We come now to the last sermon in this series. Matthew ends his entire composition with the emphatic words of Christ – The Great Commission. Pastor Timothy shares the Lord’s heart and purpose in meeting with His disciples after His resurrection and how this should impact us today. Jesus commands His disciples to make disciples. If you are a disciple of Christ, this command has been extended to you. Note too, that disciple making must entail a local gathering of believers known as the church. In order to disciple correctly, there must be accountability and even discipline within the local gathering.
