From Luke 18:1-8 we discover that prayer is the voice of our faith. In this passage, Jesus teaches His disciples that the pleas of a persistent widow causes the judge to act on her behalf. The widow knows, that because of the very character of the judge, he will carry out justice. In the same way, we are to make our pleas before the Judge of heaven Who will answer us because of His character. Jesus’ dependent prayer reveals utter trust in the all-powerful and all-good God.
