God delivers His people again and again in the Old Testament. Yet, through each deliverance, God demonstrates His hatred toward sin and rebellion by allowing blood to be spilled. Ultimately, the very blood of His own Son will need to be poured out for those He chooses to redeem. Only through this means will His people be delivered from sin and death.
