By Timothy Durey
34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been his counselor?”
35 “Or who has given a gift to him
that he might be repaid?”36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
– Romans 11:34-36
The Reformation of 1517 ignited a flame on the European continent, soon to envelope the world. Its primary objective was to point people back to the truth of God’s Word and put an end to the ever-increasing power and doctrinal fallacies of the Roman Catholic Church. Pastor Timothy shares about the Reformation teaching, “Soli Deo Gloria” (i.e. – To God Alone Be The Glory). Sharing Reformation stories and also turning to Romans 11:34-36, we discover more of what it means live life for God’s glory.
