Pastor Timothy explains that to “Give thanks in all things” shows that thanksgiving’s source and aim is God himself and challenges us.
Our hope is found in God. As we praise him, we defy painful circumstances by saying God is in control and that he is good. When we praise him in calm and “good” circumstances, biblical gratitude reminds us of our good and gracious God! Therefore, let us rejoice with steadfast thanksgiving.
