Church Family & Friends,

The elders are thankful for how the Lord is at work in our midst, drawing his children closer to him. We hope and pray this is the case for each of you.

As you may be aware, the elders met this past week. During their meeting, they discussed gathering and discipleship plans. As we reviewed the current trends of hospitalizations and COVID cases in Ottawa County, we were grateful for the downward trend that is beginning. Currently, the hospitalization rate is significantly down from November’s numbers (when we decided to move to all-masked services).

Praying these trends either continue downward, we now plan to return to our previous Sunday morning model on January 24. In other words, we will still offer two service times (9:30 & 11:15).

  • The 9:30 timeframe will be mask-optional and distanced with nursery and Sprouts taking place.
  • The 11:15 service will offer a mask-only and mask-optional gathering.

Again, if the local health trends continue, we also plan to restart Sunday evening ministries (nursery through adults) on February 7 from 5-6:30 PM. As before, this will take place the first three Sundays of the month.

As we continue to move forward in 2021, we pray that in the Lord’s providence we will be able to stairstep back towards one morning worship gathering. We know you, along with the elders, look forward to that day. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact an elder. We love you all and pray that we continue to rest in our Savior’s love and to extend love to one another in the midst of these trying times.
