Continuing on in this series on Gratitude, Pastor Timothy shares a more sobering reality in regards to gratitude and the fight that comes with it. The christian life will always involve varying degrees of spiritual warfare, and we as believers must learn to “count it all joy” in our fight for godliness. God is calling His children to cling to Him. As a result, the believer will gain endurance and grow spiritually.
- Why count it all joy?
– God is calling you to cling to him.
– You’ll gain endurance.
– You’ll become more mature spiritually. - How do I count it all joy?
– Proactively praise the Lord for all his benefits (individually and corporately).
– Purposefully praise the Lord in your weakness.
